The magazine includes many Erasmus MC highlights of the past year in the fields of research, education and healthcare.
Gert-Jan van den Bemd, chief editor of the magazine: “The magazine addresses Erasmus MC’s international activities and knowledge transfer, but also covers, for example, personalized medicine for cancer, neurological disorders and facts and figures about Erasmus MC.”
This first edition of ‘Amazing Erasmus MC’ contains 84 pages and includes activities in which Erasmus MC is leading. The magazine will be issued annually.
Van den Bemd: “Students, patients, clinicians and researchers from all over the world visit Erasmus MC and our staff often goes abroad for conferences and visits to other hospitals. Therefore, it is good to have this English-language magazine to give out. It gives a good impression of what we are doing here at Erasmus MC.”
